Musee du Tapis et des Arts Textiles (Carpet and Textile Arts Museum)
This unique museum is housed in the upper floors of the Musee Bargoin and dedicates its space to carpet and textile arts. The museum opened its doors in 1993 housing a permanent collection of 110 carpets and textiles from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and abroad. Temporary Exhibits are also displayed.

Musee du Ranquet
The Musee du Ranquet is located in what is hailed as the finest renaissance building in Clermont Ferrand. The Museums artifacts are all dedicated to the devlopments of science, math and technology. Some of the most interesting peices include two early calculating machines by Blaise Pascal.

Musee Bargoin
Named after pharmacist Jean-Baptiste Bargoin, this museum houses archaeological collections from pre-history, proto-history and the Gallo-Roman period. Visitors can explore archaelogical finds from the Neolihic Period, the Bronze Age and more.

Musee d'art Roger-Quilliot - Place Louis-Deteix
Over 2000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures and furniture make up the Musee d'art Roger-Quilliot Art Gallery located in the historic quarter of Montferrand. The gallery opened its doors in 1991 and is located in the former Ursuline Convent built in the 18th Century now an historic site.

Musee Lecoq - Natural History Museum
The Musee Lecoq includes collections involving geology, botany, zoology, paleantology and the history of science in the Clermont Ferrand area. The Museum was named after Henri Lecoq, a pharmacist who explored the area in detail collecting many of the artifacts now housed in the museum.
